The tour leads along the Louwibach from Gstaad to Lauenen. A detour to the charming mountain village is worthwhile: it is characterized by old, well-preserved chalets and its 16th century church. From Lauenen there are several paths to the idyllically situated Lake Lauenen. The hiking trail via Rohr is flat at first and climbs quite steeply at the end. The other paths are steadily gently ascending. You can return to Gstaad by post bus.
