Swiss hiking summit 2024

On 19 and 20 September 2024, Gstaad will once again become a meeting place for people who are professionally involved in hiking. The event serves as a platform where trends, needs, best practices and future tourism concepts are discussed and innovation is initiated. It enables participants to experience the different facets of the most frequently practised sporting activity in this country in a varied way: During exciting presentations in plenary sessions, hikes and walks, socialising around the campfire, lively debates and personal discussions. Participants go home with a rucksack full of concrete ideas and innovative solutions.

This year's main theme "Hiking - Change of Perspective & Side Views" highlights three key topics in detail:

- Hiking & value creation - how do they go together?
- Generations X, Y, Z decoded - who wants what?
- Nature as a recreational area - what are the perspectives?
