Out into the fresh air!

Sliding, balancing, jumping, and playing with water, the playgrounds of the destination Gstaad offer their guests a lot.Particularly popular with children is the playground at the Alpenruhe, Saanis climbing playground in Schönried, and the playground at the Gstaad sports centre. For the older ones there is a mini-golf course right next to it. At the playground in the village center of Zweisimmen, the wooden dragon and the Tyrolienne make many children's eyes light up. For all mountain lovers, in addition to the Glacier 3000, which is open throughout, the Eggli will also be open on weekends and public holidays starting on 09 May. Whether on a bike, like-a-bike or scooter – the pump tracks in Saanen (by the Oeyetli youth centre) and Zweisimmen (behind the train station) offer the perfect place to practise balance and speed and work on your bike skills. And the good thing is – everyone will be quite tired in the evening.

Rainy Day Programme

«April does what it wants» - even if we are looking forward to the warmer spring weather, we all know this saying, and it is often true. But in the holiday region Gstaad there are enough activities to make even gray rainy days exciting. The indoor pool in the Gstaad sports center in particular offers a variety of experiences: Visitors can swim, splash, slide and bubble here. With various pools, a turbo slide, a children's paddling pool and a diving board, the water world is a real highlight for young and old. The Gstaad Card also entitles you to a reduction on the admission price to the indoor pool.

Saanis Sound Adventure Trail

At 18 experience stations, children and their families and friends can playfully experience traditional folk and classical music, which has gained great importance in the Saanenland thanks to Yehudi Menuhin. However, they will not only get to hear musical tones, but also, wooden sounds through a tree trunk, animal voices at interactive consoles or nature sounds with Saani's big ears.

Don't forget: Get the puzzle book for the adventure trail (CHF 5.-) before the hike, find the treasure chest and get your reward.

Not enough yet? We recommend you to try Saani’s mountain adventure trail where you can work on your fitness and coordination on 17 stations.
