3. Picnic with a view

Culinary markets and events are always held in the autumn month of September. In Gstaad, these convivial events are all about the fine alpine cheese. At the "Chästeilet", the past alpine season is celebrated at the festival restaurant and the fresh mountain cheese is cut for the first time. The alp cheese and bell market attracts visitors with tasty cheese and traditional crafts. Have you ever tried sliced cheese with a little "Saanesenf"? This speciality made from spiced cherry puree gives the cheese a very special flavour.
