For its 15th edition, the Gstaad Festival Amateur Orchestra Week once again tackles repertoire which is rarely played by amateur ensembles, Berlioz’s “Symphony fantastique”. The Gstaad Festival Amateur Orchestra offers the ideal opportunity to practice music with other enthusiasts from near and far. It also gives access to Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy concerts, and all this in a unique setting: that of the beautiful Saanenland region. The week is expertly directed by Kevin Griffiths, who has the support of a team of professional section leaders.
