Ranger tour around Lake Lauenen

Various stations around the lake will give you insights into the animal world (birds, fish and amphibians) and into the moor landscape. The ranger will explain why the protection of the lake is so important for everyone. Look forward to an exciting tour out in nature.

Meeting point
2:30 pm at the Ranger hut Lauenensee (below Restaurant Lauenensee)
Level of difficulty
The walking time is 1 hour (2.5 km). This distance must be manageable for all participants otherwise parents should use an aid (e.g. all-terrain pushchair, child carrier backpack, etc.).
Arrival Information
Individual arrival to the parking Lauenensee, please travel by public bus. Walk from the park to the Ranger hut approx. 10 minutes.
The Postbus leaves from the Trainsation in Gstaad at 1:37pm and arrives at the Lauenensee car park at 2.11 pm,
A Bus back to Gstaad leaves at 4.40 pm. and arives at 5:15pm.
Requirements
Registration until 4 pm the day before.
A minimum of 1 child must be booked.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Equipment
Please wear weather appropriate clothing and proper footwear and bring your own drinks and any food you may need.
