Lupino, Hollywood icon and pioneering director, is the godmother and namesake of the soul jazz quartet Fritz Flueler (tp), Mike Moling (rhodes), Fridolin Berger (db) and Andi Wettstein (dr).

The renowned musicians from the Zurich jazz scene have set out to bring soul back into jazz:
original compositions, earthy grooves, elegant lines, soulful songs – and at the same time to preserve a boldness and vulnerability in the music that would please Ida Lupino.
