The Chalberhönibach is located in a beautiful, quiet valley away from the crowds. About 200 meters from the Waldmatte restaurant, there is a cozy barbecue area by the stream. Students had built it after there had once been very heavy floods in the region a few years ago. If you take a walk in the direction of the spring, you will discover beautiful stretches of untouched nature. The spring, the "Gumseeli" or "Gour de Comborsin", is about 3.5 kilometers away.
- Location barbecue area: In the Chalberhöni, 200 meters next to the restaurant Waldmatte
- Altitude: 1340 m above sea level
- How to get there: from Saanen in the direction of "Chalberhöni". Until shortly before the mountain railroad valley stations Chalberhöni-Eggli and Chalberhöni-Les Gouilles.
- Recommendation: Hike along the stream up to the spring at "Gumseeli".
