In the morning with the first cable car at 09.00 o'clock one travels in about 20 minutes to the mountain station "Scex Rouge" where the demanding day tour begins. The first descent is right from the top station. The first one and a half kilometers you follow the ski slope in the direction of Oldensattel. You leave the ski slope just before the Oldensattel and enjoy the wonderful meters down to the Sanetschpass. On the pass the skins are mounted on the skis. Over the Arête de l'Arpille you ascend along the striking ridge. The ridge is often blown off and the skis have to be carried a few meters. We continue in magnificent scenery to the Arpelistock at 3036 meters. The last meters are done on foot with the skis on the backpack. The magnificent descent to the lonely Geltenhütte leads through ideally angled northern slopes either through the Furge or the Rottal. From the Geltenhütte you continue along the summer path to Lake Lauenen and finally to the village of Lauenen.
