Diverse hiking region with over 300 kilometres of hiking trails

The hiking trails in the holiday region Gstaad take you through some very varied scenery. Along the way you will discover moorlands, deep gorges, Alpine valleys, high mountain peaks and, of course, the beautifully located Alpine restaurants. With more than 300 km of signposted and well maintained trails and paths, the holiday region of Gstaad is a veritable paradise for hikers. The dense and expansive network of routes, which is ideally accessible thanks to the many lifts, cable cars and different modes of public transport, is sure to offer something for everyone.

Hiking routes

In the Gstaad holiday region, there are hiking trails for every taste. Whether alpine tours, multi-day routes, family hikes, themed trails or strolls - there is a wide range on offer. Most of the starting points for the hikes are easy to reach by train and bus, free of charge with the Gstaad Card.

Roundtrip-tickets

For the most beautiful round-trips in the Destination Gstaad, round-trip tickets are available, in which all the necessary means of transport are included. Enjoy careless and nice hikes.

Fondueland Gstaad

In Fondueland Gstaad, there's nothing better than savouring a delicious fondue in the heart of the mountains. Two specially equipped huts and five oversized caquelons provide a convivial setting for savouring the fondue with an incomparable panoramic view. All the necessary ingredients are packed in the fondue rucksack and can be ordered from the dairies in the region, from Berghaus Wispile and from the hotels.

Cultural and themed trails

Get moving, enjoy nature and learn and experience interesting facts about a topic. This is what the various cultural and themed trails in the Gstaad holiday region offer. Themes such as nature, local traditions, architecture and history can be discovered on the trails.
