Grand Tour of Switzerland

Gstaad is one of the highlights of the Grand Tour of Switzerland. The stage leads from Zweisimmen via Schönried and the historic village of Saanen to the Pays-d'Enhaut and vice versa. Numerous viewpoints and excursion tips encourage you to linger in the eventful vacation region of Gstaad. Local products from the dairies, butchers and bakeries as well as cozy restaurants invite you to take an enjoyable and tasty break.
Ten chalet villages together make up the Gstaad vacation region. Here guests will find an incomparable variety of leisure activities in the midst of a lovely and unspoilt Alpine landscape.

No other resort in Switzerland offers so much culinary expertise in such a small area as Gstaad: 15 restaurants with a total of 210 Gault Millau points are merely the icing on the cake for anyone who enjoys fine dining. You can choose from a further 100 restaurants offering a wide and varied range of different cuisines.

On the Grand Tour of Switzerland, the journey is the destination.

The approximately 1,600-kilometre journey of discovery takes you through four language regions, over five Alpine passes, to eleven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, two biospheres and along 22 lakes. This tour offers a full load of Switzerland with scenic and cultural gems.
