Visit to the Alp in Schönried

Find out why the cows are on the alp in summer and how cheese is made. An exciting morning with marvellous views awaits you after a short hike from the Horneggli mountain station.

The activity lasts approx. 2.5 hours including the chairlift ride, hike and descent. The ticket for the mountain railway is not included and must be organised by the participants.

*Children under the age of 6 do not receive a Saani Card (guest card). Please state the Gstaad Card number of a parent when booking for children up to the age of 5. In order to benefit from the Gstaad Card reduction, the family must be in possession of a Gstaad Card.

Equipment

Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear good shoes and bring your own food and drink.

Level of difficulty

The path to the alp is steep and stony in places. Participants must be good walkers, the path is doable for children.

Price

The mountain railway ticket is not included.

08:45 hrs Horneggli valley station, Schönried

Arrival Information

- Meeting point 08.45 Uhr at the valley station Horneggli in Schönried. A Guide will accompany you durtind the activity.
- Joint ride to the Horneggli
- Walk to the alp, ca. 30 minutes
- Nach the visit there ist the possibility to ride down back to Schönriwe with the mountain railway or hiking to hornberg or even to the Rinderberg.
- The tickets for the mountain railways are note incluted.

Registration by 4.00 pm the day before.

Exclusively bookable with the Gstaad Card.

At least 1 child must be booked Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
