Fondue Caquelon Abländschen
The idyllic mountain village of Abländschen in Saanenland offers quiet relaxation options in unspoiled nature. With 30 inhabitants, 3 farming families, and a potato field, the "Detox Valley" enchants with its impressive landscape at the border between the Bernese Oberland and the Fribourg Alps, and is still considered a hidden gem in the Gstaad holiday region.
Seven oversized fondue pots and two specially designed huts, each accommodating up to eight people, serve as sociable culinary backdrops with incomparable panoramic views. Whether you set out on foot, by bike, by sled, or with snowshoes, or choose your very own enjoyment spot in the great outdoors – everything is possible in Fondue Land Gstaad.
We love to be social. The fondue pots and huts cannot be reserved. Cozying up and chatting with your table neighbors is encouraged.
The fondue or raclette backpack
Is made possible by the nostalgic-looking backpack. It contains all the ingredients for the irresistible outdoor experience of fondue or raclette. The backpack can be ordered the day before at the local dairies during opening hours (online orders possible up to 2 days in advance).
