Turbach-Bach

Turbach-Bach

The beautiful mountain stream rises in the romantic Heubergtal and flows from the village of Turbach towards Gstaad. Along the entire stream there are quiet and beautiful hiking and walking trails as well as barbecue areas far away from cars and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At countless places you can treat yourself to a cool, refreshing foot or even full-body bath after sporting activities. The secluded Heubergtal offers pure nature experiences and even a small, fine refreshment stop in the Wintermatte-Beizli.

  • Location Wintermatte-Beizli: At the back of the Turbachtal, in front of the wild hay area "Heuberg".
  • Altitude: 1420 m above sea level.
  • How to get there: from Gstaad to Turbach. Drive backwards along the valley to Rotegrabe. From there on foot along the stream to Wintermatte (about 1 km).
  • Recommendation: Hike from Wintermatte-Beizli into the valley in the direction of Heuberg. Or hike along the brook back to Gstaad.
