To start the tour, take the cable car from the Col du Pillon to the Scex Rouge mountain station. From there you ski down to the Col de Prapio and then put on your ski skins. The ascent starts along the winter hiking trail or the ski slope to the top station of the lift on the upper part of the Glacier de Tsanfleuron. After another small ascent, a fixed rope passage follows to the Col du Dôme. For this section, it's a case of tying your skis onto your backpack. Afterwards, we descend over a small cornice and climb slightly over the glacier to the summit. The ascent is rewarded with a magnificent panorama.

The descent is first over the glacier along the ascent route and then over the steep, somewhat exposed southern mountainsides below "Le Dôme" back to the ski area (however, this variant is not recommended in hard conditions). You can either return to the Col du Pillon by cable car or choose the slope descent that takes you - with an intermediate chairlift ascent - to the valley in Reusch.
