The hike starts in the village of Saanen and leads first through the promenade. At the end of the promenade, at the traffic circle, cross the main road and follow Spitalstrasse. At the end of the road, a short hiking trail follows until Farbstrasse. Turn left here and shortly after cross the small bridge and follow the hiking trail along the forest to the next junction. At the junction turn right in the direction of Gstaad and via Löchlistrasse to Grubenstrasse. Cross Grubenstrasse and follow Cheserystrasse until you reach Berschelstrasse. Then follow Berschelstrasse until the next bend. At the bend take the hiking trail and shortly after turn right until you reach Cheseystrasse again. Follow this road in the direction of Gstaad until you reach Nüweret. Follow the hiking trail to the right until Hotel The Alpina and via Hindere Büel and Ebnit down to the main road. Follow the main road for about 200 meters in the direction of Saanen, then cross the road and follow the Bellerivestrasse to the Saane and along the river back to Saanen.
