From the parking lot at the exit St. Stephan the route starts on a short section of the main road, then immediately left onto the "Dürrenwaldstrasse" and at the first junction right onto the "Reulissentrasse" up to the "Rüwlispass". Past the beautiful mountain huts, the path leads along the gravel road to the Hornberg and on to the Horneggli.

From here the descent starts on the single trail to Saanenmöser, then on the mountain bike route No.1 to Zweisimmen and back to St. Stephan.

  • Approach

    The Destination Gstaad is located in the south-west of Switzerland right on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The Destination is easily accessed by rail or car from the regions around Lake Thun and Lake Geneva and the Gruyere region Direct connections to the European high-speed rail network and all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant journey.

  • Mountainbike, clothing and equipment appropriate to the weather, tool kit and first aid kit.

  • Treat yourself to a piece of cake in one of the two restaurants on the Hornberg. A pick nick is very suitable on the "Rüwlispass".
