Family hike

Hike with a picnic basket or fondue backpack

In our region there are great hikes for the whole family, for example the high-altitude hike from Horneggli to Rinderberg or the hike from Wispile to Lauenensee. Hiking is really fun with the right food. Pack your fondue in your backpack and cook it in the oversized caquelon. Or pack a picnic basket with local specialties. On the way there are also many fireplaces where you can grill the bratwurst you brought with you.

Barbecue areas

Every village throughout the holiday region Gstaad has a number of beautifully sited barbecue areas, ideal for BBQs or simply for taking time out.

Pump Tracks

A pump track is a specially created track consisting of waves and banked curves. Without pedaling, the cyclist uses a pumping motion of the body in order to gain and maintain speed. Although the facility is suitable for experienced bikers, children and anyone else wanting to try out something different are sure to have an enjoyable time too.

Scooters

Scooters provide a fun alternative for anyone with a good level of fitness who loves racing down into the valley.

Suitable for children from 12 years

Visiting my friends in the Suisse Romande

Sometimes I am particularly adventurous. Then I visit my friends in the Suisse Romand in the Pays d’Enhaut. I don’t have to travel far to get there. Too bad, I don’t understand everything they tell me. Uff - I need to practise my French! There are also many exciting things to experience in neighbouring areas. My favourite things are:
