Extension Fondueland - XXL Caquelon in Abländschen

In the lovely holiday region Gstaad, the Fondueland awaits connoisseurs, an oasis for lovers of delicious cheese specialities. Here, the cheese is characterised by the fresh mountain air, lush grasses and fragrant herbs. Seven oversized caquelons and two cosy huts offer space for convivial get-togethers with magnificent panoramic views. Whether on foot, by bike, on skis or on snowshoes - in Fondueland Gstaad, everyone can find their own personal favourite spot in the midst of nature.

The idyllic mountain village of Abländschen in the Saanenland offers peaceful recreational opportunities in unspoilt nature. 30 inhabitants, 3 farming families and a potato field. The "Detox Valley" enchants with its impressive landscape on the border between the Bernese Oberland and the Fribourg Alps and is still considered an insider tip in the Gstaad holiday region. The XXL fondue caquelon in Abländschen is located directly above the small church and promises a marvellous view of the enchanting valley.


The fondue backpack

The fondue rucksack with its nostalgic look makes it possible. It contains all the ingredients for an irresistible outdoor experience. It contains creamy classic or aromatic truffle fondue from local dairies, crispy fondue bread from local bakeries, spices, caquelon, rechaud with fuel paste as well as plates and forks. The fondue backpack is available for 2 or more people. The fondue backpack can be ordered the day before from the local dairies during opening hours (online ordering possible up to 2 days in advance).
