The Betelberg cable car takes you from Lenk to the Leiterli mountain station at just under 2000 meters above sea level, where the hike begins. Even the first few meters of the hike promise a unique natural spectacle. Passing pink blooming alpine roses, the path leads more or less flat towards the Gryden. The Gryden are a bizarre crater landscape formed from gypsum rock, which are worth the trip in themselves. The view on the ascent to the white peaks of the Wildstrubel massif to the Stübleni Pass is magnificent. The pass lies on the municipal border between Lenk and Lauenen. The descent to Lauenen is on footpaths and small roads. The wonderful view of the Saanenland mountains is a constant companion.
